from Hits: Rust Epique, lead singer for V2 band Pre)Thing, died of a massive coronary this morning in Las Vegas while with his wife. Epique wrote everything on the album, 22nd Century Lifestyle, and played all of the instruments. The single, "Faded Love," has been at Active and PoMo radio for two weeks and has already been added at 50 stations. (3/9p)

so uhm yeah.. i forgot i even had this fucking thing..

hahaha.. anyway hi.. im in lovely ohio.. back at the fabulous travelodge, my second home.. hahaha oh the FABULOUS memories.. *rolls eyes*

i havent updated forever.. so uhm.. i dont even know where to start.. um so this is the last month of my life in a nutshell (not necessarily in any kind of sane order)..

saw powerman 5000 today.. hung out with adrian, and got to kick it with mikey tempesta for a while which was super cool.. went with adrian and spider to BW-3...mm wings... seeing cold tommorrow.. got tattoos... watched lesbian action unfold in my apartment.. had hot blond twins with large fake breasts running around naked in said apartment..

spent quality time with my chink who is now back in korea til august.. :(.. saw stone sour.. went to vegas with corey..ate a bad buffet.. hung out with corey and mellani at my apartment and did laundry.. finally got my cold gold record.. (i also got a trixter one from my friend at RCA haha)

uhm.. got tattoos?.. produced some demos.. made a fuckload of money.. bought a new laptop.. got a new dvd player so i can play vcds..

saw cold.. saw marilyn manson at the key club.. uhm jesus.. oh yeah i went and saw kiss and christina aguilera.. got to watch kiss from the security pit in front of the stage.. sickest shit ive ever seen in my life.. got gene simmons picks..

ok so that was an accident.. but it looks cool.. so i just left it.. hahaha

anyway i was pasting code to put up new pics.. so here..

they were actually just kinda taken fucking around.. but i found them amusing.. they were shot by mark weiss.. the photographer who shot the cover for twisted sister - stay hungry, kiss - crazy nights, cinderella - night songs, bon jovi- slippery when wet, and all these other crazy albums i loved when i was a kid, which is really fucking cool.. someday im gonna have him shoot some serious ones.. when i can like do my hair and stuff. (when he took those we'd been out in the wind doing a shoot for 2 hours)

anyway so im going to new york this weekend, and i'll be there most of this week.. im gonna go stay with mia and work on songs, and one of my bands has some showcases and stuff.. so it should be fun.. then i get back for 3 whole days, and leave for cincinatti.. it never ends. im getting too old for this rock and roll lifestyle that i lead..

i just found a breakup letter i wrote to linsey in like december that i never sent.. haha.. i bet i have like 19 of these on my computer.. maybe if i get bored ill post it sometime..

anyway, the rest of my week has been kind of uneventful.. mia's band is almost put together.. ive been working with the drummer all week (he's been staying with me, and he's housesitting while i'm gone), and the songs are coming out amazing.. she was also on the today show yesterday, but of course i was nowhere near consciousness at that time to watch it.. i think we're actually gonna go do the demo in florida at jason bieler's studio, which will be awesome..

oh yeah.. there's a war. although i dont really support it, and i think its bullshit and feel bad for any innocent people caught up in the middle of it, i hope they do it right this time, and kill that scumbag bastard the way they shouldve 15 years ago.

Bah.. So i just spent 11 hours working on a Mariah Carey video.. haha. Amusingly enough, her new single is a Def Leppard cover with Dave Navarro playing guitar..( I swear..!!) So he's in the video playing guitar, and the black guy from American Idol (the judge) was her bass player.. interesting.. god she is beautiful in person.. seeing people like that is still surreal.. like i was 3 feet away from her and i still felt like i was watching it on tv.. and Carmen Elektra was there.. omfg.. yum.. yum.. haha.. yum..

spent the day hanging out with mark weiss.. made money.. good day..

it would have been better had i not stayed up til 8 am with Eric doing illicit and illegal substances, and then gotten up at 11:30, but oh well..

Anyway, i was actually hanging around during some of the shots, and in a few i kinda got stuck in the crowd cuz i was trying to move and they started shooting and boom.. thom's in a mariah carey video.. haha..

anyway so when you see a video of Mariah singing a Def Leppard song ("Bringin On The Heatbreak"), think of me.. and if you happen to see someone in the back throwin up the goat.. that would be me..

and Joe Millionaire was there..

so uhm where do i start. i haven't written in this thing in so long i have no idea where to even start.. i guess ill move backwards.. who knows.. itll probably end up like pulp fiction..

anyway.. so tonight i went to the standard with amanda and eric and some other people..i saw fucking michael imperioli (aka chris soprano) that just about made my entire life complete.. i also saw jack osbourne, (which was rad cuz i dont see him enough, especially now that hes a media icon) vince vaughan and christian slater...

ive also been hanging out with amanda a lot.. shes rad, but she looks frighteningly like her dad, almost to the point where it freaks me out sometimes.. but she's rad.. and any girl who can sit almost butt naked in my living room for 2 hours getting her hoohah tattooed is okay in my book..

rich has also been here for a week, if you don't know he is my tattoo artist and is amazing (thus all the new tattoos), and it's been a pretty constant stream of people in and out of my apartment hanging out getting tattooed, etc. i'm debating getting a sign.."Thom's Tattoo"? ya think...?

i also made a shitload of money today.. god bless. couldn't have come at a better time.. im finally getting caught up, and *gasp* almost ahead.. also i have a new job prospect that is awesome, and im really stoked.. im going to New York to meet with them at the end of the month. I can't really say much more than that, aside from it's major, and its fuckin awesome, and i can in theory do it on top of my other stuff without any conflicts..

also last week my friend Mia was in town and i got to hang out with her a lot too.. she's rad.. and it kinda twisted and turned and worked out that we are gonna work together and im gonna co-write and produce her demo.. basically for demo her band is going to be the stigma guys with dave from papa roach on drums.. it's gonna be fuckin amazing.. im also gonna stay with her and hang out and work on songs when i go to NYC so i'm pretty stoked.. it will be fun to hang out with her on her turf.. and shes giving me aerosmith and spinal tap laminates.. eep.. she's about the coolest girl ever..

i also got much music today.. its awesome.. mmm juliya..mia says shes skanky but i don't care. hahah
(and as im writing this the Juliya commercial with her taking her shirts off came on.. if you haven't seen it go download it .. www.muchmusicusa.com.. mmmm )

also to add to today's randomness, out of the blue david from disturbed called me about some business stuff and we talked for almost an hour. he's an amazingly cool guy.

and i got my locks changed and got a new one added.. yay.. about time.. they were basically falling off before..

uhm also sometime last week (when i last wrote) i went with papa roach to jimmy kimmel.. that was entertaining.. they played 2 songs but they showed one, and about 2 seconds of another one.

the week before i spent in Cleveland, speaking at the Cleveland Music Festival, and hanging out.. it was fun.. i saw integrity and some other cool bands.. big ups to the crew at peabody's for (once again) the top notch accomodations..

anyway i think that's about it.. everyone who's been bitching that i haven't updated, well this should keep you busy for a while...

Hola.. what's happening boppers?.

So tonight me and Meghan went and saw Mudvayne at the Roxy. Good Times. I met the most adorable, rad girls in the entire world. They are in a band from Canada called Lillix, and they are sooo rad and sweet and beautiful, and you all need to go check them out. Their record come out in March (or May?) on Maverick, and mark my words they are gonna be HUGE rock stars. Check them out. Also thanks to someone else who rules the entire world I am getting something I have wanted for as long as I can remember.. A Chihuahua! so its friday night and i'm sitting home.. it actually feels good, as i've been kinda forced to go out all week and didn't really feel like it.. so here i am friday night watching south park and sitting on the internet.. if i was any cooler, id need a heater.. really

So.. I guess it's semi official.. the latest in my lifetime string of weird random events.. I am representing Derek Riggs.. If you don't know.. he is the artist responsible for 20 years of classic Iron Maiden album covers, Number Of The Beast, Killers, Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, etc etc etc, and is one of the most influential and recognized artists in the history of contemporary music.

it seems my life always takes these kind of bizarre twists.. several times i've become friends and/or involved in a business relationship with bands or artists that I grew up with and really influenced me as a person.. i guess it's cool cuz i get to give something back..

anyway so last night was really bizarre and random too.. me and meghan went with adrian pm5k and his GF to the papa roach show.. and i introduced her to a slew of silly rock stars.. i swear it was the most people i've seen out in one night forever.. it was good, and i got to see a bunch of people i haven't seen forever.. i also talked to jeff about the HWP live album weve been talking about forever.. and it looks like it might actually happen.. he also asked me about working with PMM, who are now without management, so we'll see what happens with that..

anyway so after the show we went to an after party on the rox.. it was insane.. jack osbourne was having some party there too.. so it was like a million people in a place that barely holds 100 comfortably..

so we hung out there for a while, (about 10 minutes) and then me meghan dave from p roach, his GF Mia, Adrian and his gf meagan all went back to adrian's house and hung out for a while..

but the MOST random shit.. on the way we stopped at ralphs on ventura to buy beer, at literally like 1 in the morning, and fuckin' CLOWN was there buying groceries.. so i dragged him outside into the parking lot, and told him Dave was out there.. so there we were having some bizarre rock star pow wow(ironically they were all drummers too) in the parking lot of a grocery store at 1 in the morning..SO Hollywood..(too bad it was in the valley) haha it was good to see clown, and i know dave was all stoked too so it was really cool..and Mia is a huge Slipknot fan, so she was allll ecstatic.. he also invited me down to the studio next week to hear the side project stuff hes doing..

anyway tonight meghan is coming over and we're going to see crazy town at the roxy... blargh.. and then tommorrow i have to go mix the ion stuff with ulrich over at paige and mikey's.. it never stops..
